about

Hi there!

First and foremost… yes… Teal is my real name (I get asked that A LOT!)

I believe the most meaningful images are born from connection, are deeply personal, honest, and effortless.

I'm a wife of 21 years, a proud mom to a beautiful daughter, and a lifelong lover of coffee and quiet mornings with my dogs. For two decades, my husband served in the U.S. Army, and together we lived a life of movement—exploring new places, embracing change, and collecting stories from around the world. That journey shaped not just who I am, but how I see the world.

Photography has been my professional craft for 10 years now, and it’s taken me across the globe, capturing the unique beauty of families in all stages of life. Now rooted in Arizona, I bring that global perspective and a refined, heartfelt approach to every session, blending natural elegance with emotion to create heirloom-quality imagery that feels timeless.

Beyond photographing families, I have a true passion for pouring into other photographers. I believe in community over competition, in sharing what I’ve learned openly—whether it’s business strategy, creative technique, or finding your voice as an artist. I’m an open book, ready to encourage and equip others to grow confidently and clearly.

This is more than my career. It’s my calling. And whether I’m documenting your story or helping you tell your own—I’m honored to be a part of the journey.

A couple is standing in a body of water, embracing each other as a woman stands nearby, taking a photograph of them. The scene appears to be a beach during sunset with mountains in the background.

Because your memories deserve nothing less.

Fun facts

01

I have an identical twin

That’s right identical! We may look a like but we are compete opposites when it comes to life.

Favorite location ever

Most people are surprised that although we have lived all over, Oklahoma was my favorite place to photograph. (I know… Even over Hawaii!)

Favorite book

Lost and Found by Marilyn Harris -It was a random book on my grandmas book shelf and has become my most re-read book. If you like books that tell different stories, but then they all connect, give it a read!
